Interfaith and Social Action Manager / The Board of Deputies of British Jews (Aug 2016 - Oct 2022)

  • Leading national projects which catalysed cultural change in the British Jewish community:

    • Co-authoring the Commission on Racial Inclusivity in the Jewish Community, which put the topic of anti-Black racism on the front pages of every Jewish newspaper in Britain

    • Invest in Peace, which included bringing Palestinian speakers - talking candidly about life under occupation - into dozens of synagogues for the first time ever

    • Managing and incubating EcoJudaism, which promotes climate action across the Jewish community, and leading its participation at COP26

  • Managing campaigns and associated comms around women’s rights, climate change and human rights, such as challenging the persecution of Uyghurs in Xinjiang

  • Building relationships between Jewish communities and other faith groups, challenging antisemitism and islamophobia in faith communities

  • Developing UnLtd’s policy approach on areas including youth social action, social entrepreneurship education and the disability employment gap
